The Scoop From A Private Investigator

I’m endlessly fascinated by how people got from Point A to Point B — especially in their careers.

So today, I’m sharing a little bit about me, a little bit about copywriting, and a lot of surprising parallels.

Here's the scoop:

Before I dove into the world of copywriting & entrepreneurship, I was a private investigator.

Yep, you heard that right - like on the true crime shows we all love, minus the flashy car and brooding looks, of course.

But why am I telling you this?

Besides wanting to let you in on some spicy details of my life, there’s a bigger picture here.

My time as a PI was no less than an exciting (exhausting) years-long rollercoaster with unsolved mysteries, televised trials, and most importantly, a deep dive into understanding human behavior.

And guess what…

I discovered this knowledge is GOLD when it comes to copywriting. ✨

So, here's what I did...

I made a podcast about it!

It’s called “What Studying Criminal Behavior Taught Me About Marketing” and it’s all about the shocking link between criminal & consumer behavior.

In this episode, I bring out the big guns, like Eugene Schwartz's legendary book, "Breakthrough Advertising".

If you’ve ever had a tough time figuring out the best angle for your marketing, or if you’re just curious about what makes your audience tick, you seriously can’t miss this one.

In this episode, we deep dive into:

  • How playing detective can level up your copywriting game.

  • What to do when you're in a pickle about understanding your audience's desires.

  • Tips from the marketing legend himself, Eugene Schwartz, to write irresistible copy and market your business the right way.
